What We Treat - Individuals

Making changes is about helping you get more out of life.

Making changes is about helping you get more out of life.  For some of you, that might involve overcoming problems such as depression and anxiety, or building your self-esteem and confidence.  We do this by teaching you a number extremely effective strategies based on an approach known as "cognitive behaviour therapy" (CBT).  Cognitive behaviour therapy focuses on helping you combat negative thoughts and develop a more positive attitude.

In addition, making changes can help you determine your goals and establish a clear plan for achieving them.  Many of you might have goals that, for one reason or another, you're having difficulty reaching on our own.  By working with experienced professionals you can learn how to overcome hurdles and create your own momentum.

making changes has a range of program options including traditional face-to-face psychological therapy as well as psychological therapy on-line.  For many, our on-line services will provide an opportunity to improve your life, with the help of highly qualified experts, from the comfort and safety of your own home and with the convenience of being able to "log-on" any time of the day or night.

As already noted, making changes programs can be individually tailored to suit your needs but some of our more popular programs include cognitive therapy for -

  • Depression
  • Anxiety and Stress
  • Insomnia
  • Relationship problems
  • Weight Management
  • Stress Management
  • Quit Smoking

We can also help you develop practical skills so you can -

  • Improve your personal productivity and get more done
  • Say what you want and need to say without being afraid
  • Improve your work/life balance
