Ileana is a clinical psychologist who recently joined the practice in January 2007 after finishing her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney. Prior to this Ileana completed a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours in Psychology) in 2003.
During her post-graduate study, Ileana worked in a range of clinical settings including the Children's Hospital at Westmead, Rozelle Hospital, the Anxiety Unit, and Cumberland & Rivendell Child and Adolescent Unit. She also gained extensive experience in teaching psychology due to her work as an Undergraduate tutor at the University of Sydney.
Ileana is currently completing her PhD at Sydney University exploring the cognitive processes underlying pathalogical worry and the effectiveness of a new treatement component, Attention Training in the treatment of Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD). In addition she works part-time at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in the Sexual Assault Unit as a Support Worker for children with disabilities at Holdsworth Street Community Centre.

Ileana enjoys working with a wide range of clients and incorporating components of different treatment approaches (including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to inform her use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
